umm...yeah. I was in Philly last week and it felt like abroad. Regardless, I hope he gets the drift.

I seriously think you should grow up a bit more, or maybe check you attitude regarding foreigners and their culture, before embarking on things like living abroad.

Dude I've lived in Saudi Arabia, 7 different African countries (Kenya, Zimbabwe, Lesotho, Mozambique, Egypt, Namimbia, Botswana)
, and in most of the European countries (Italy, France, England, Holland, Belgium and have had vacations in Spain, Denmark, Switzerland, San Marino)...
In all of them I've never seen or heard of such cruelty, yes it's their culture to eat everything but it's just plain wrong they way they treat animals...
Just becuase cats and dogs can't speak our lingo, it's BS that the world is doing nothing about the way they are harvestered there in Korea...
Here in South Africa, we have laws and agnecies that prevents this type of animal injustice... even on the animal farms they begginning to crack down on...
As it's their culture and we must respect it... Well then way human rights has to always apply to those nations, and not animal rights... ???
As it's their culture and we must respect it, fine, but this is my opinion and voice for those animals and the same should also be said about it...
Wolfie, have you seen how any livestock are treated? Do you enjoy veal? How about chicken? If people found out how we get most of our meat there would be a lot more vegetarians let me tell you.
That is what I was trying ti point out in my earlier post!
You need to look at how things are done to the animals you eat before you start slamming someone else on how they treat them. You seemed to have had experience in dealing with other cultured in your travels, but it doesn't show as much as I would have thought it should have.
Easy on the caffeine, guys !!
No, but I have wanted to for most of my life. Hopefully one day! I would like to live there too!
I should have also mentioned that if you make it there, I could use some help in getting a couple of boxes of Epoch cards!
Point taken, but seriously... I'm vegetarain, & have been since the age of 8... the only type of meat I eat is maybe fish on rare occasions, and women...
PS, what are Epoch cards... ???
Well, cannibalism is "normal" in some parts of the world.
